Cha Cha Cha Changes :)

Sometimes change can definitely be scary, I can attest to that, but I'm also a firm believer in hope, and that if you set your mind towards positive goals and stay strong, the world will eventually start to turn back in your favor.  A month ago, I was worried about finding  a job, finding a new relationship, and where my life direction was headed.  I applied for a Groundskeeper position at Pinecrest Gardens, which used to be the Old Parrot Jungle.  I thought the job would entail general maintenance and I might get to take care of some planties, but little did I know, this job would be an awesome career move.

It turns out that the position is more of an Assistant Horticulturist, working for one of the most brilliant minds when it comes to plants.  My job entails, planting, pruning, and caring for the entire garden of Pinecrest and I absolutely love it.  Everyday, I leave there covered in dirt and with a smile on my face, thrilled that I get to work in such an amazingly beautiful place and learn so much about the field of Horticulture.

I definitely miss all of my amazing friends and people from my last position at Fairchild Gardens and I owe so much of what I know to them, but there are new kick ass people at Pinecrest and we have a ton of fun.  Flirting with a super cute male co-worker is an added bonus :)

I also applied for a Floral Arranger position with Michaels and got the job, but decided not to take it because I wanted to have a life and not just work all of the time at two jobs.  I'll let you know if that was a good decision in about a month or not.  Money isn't everything right?  Crap.  I hope not lol.

Aaaaaand here is a random picture montage that helps wrap up the past month!
